Charlemagne was one of the great historical European figures of history. That’s because he united Europe in more ways than one. Not only was he a great uniter, but he was an educator as well.
He invented he educational system concept which we still use today. He saw the people as an asset for the kingdom, not as pawns, and wanted to educate everyone how to read and write. Not only did he do that, but he also invented the modern day writing system of which our own system is based on today.
And at his court, of course, they loved to play lots of games which included dice and cards. Naturally, he would have been absolutely fond of online games such as 3 card poker and blackjack. It would have entertained him greatly to no end, and he would have regaled everyone with his exploits in those endeavors.
Charlemagne is still remembered fondly by everyone in Europe today as a good king who cared for his people and led them not only into a united front, but also as an inventor and scholar who should be revered in his place in history.
